Eco-sustainable packaging for shipping packaging
4 fundamental choices for an eco-sustainable shipping packaging!
1 - We only use sturdy recyclable corrugated cardboard
When it comes to sustainable packaging, one of the first options to consider is recycled cardboard. Recycled corrugated cardboard is resistant to impact and is an ecological and economic solution for us who wish to reduce the environmental impact of our products.
Recycled cardboard is made by recovering used cardboard fibers and recovering them through cleaning, filtering and recycling processes. This process offers important environmental advantages, as it avoids the production of new materials, thus reducing the polluting emissions associated with the processing of raw materials. Furthermore, by using material that already exists, you do not contribute to the accumulation of waste in landfills.
Each recycled cardboard box is personalized with the THECA astucci logo to guarantee the originality of the packaging.
2 - We seal each carton with paper tape
We only use waterproof, impact and moisture resistant paper tape. The paper used for production is recycled and can be disposed of together with the cardboard. The recycled paper tape is personalized with the THECA astucci logo to guarantee the authenticity of the original packaging.
3 - We use 50% recycled filling material
- 50% recycled composition certification
4 - We close each carton with strap to keep it manageable and safe
Each carton is packed with polypropylene strapping, the most reliable solution because this material is strong and durable, allowing items to be kept safe during transport. Polypropylene strapping offers several advantages over other packing materials: it is resistant to breakage, light enough to be easily transported. The polypropylene strap is personalized with the THECA astucci logo to guarantee the authenticity of the original packaging.
Eco-sustainable packaging
Remember the goods you receive are original if packed in cartons and packaged with strapping and paper tape customized with the THECA astucci logo.
We also identify each carton and all the packing boxes contained within, with a paper label printed with all the product data contained within each box. Plus there's also a QR-code that makes it easier to reorder the same product when you run out.
Follow the instructions below to use our QR-code.
What is the QR-Code for?
The QR Code (acronym for Quick Response Code) is a two-dimensional barcode, i.e. a type of barcode composed of a matrix of black and white blocks. Used in many industries, such as payment technology, marketing and logistics, it is often seen on food, beverage labels, advertising flyers and other printed materials. At THECA astucci we use QR codes to identify each individual package that we insert in your orders. In the photo on the side you can find an example of QR code on labeled packaging.
What does the square barcode contain?
QR Code contains data variables such as URLs, phone numbers, email addresses, and so on. The content of the THECA astucci qrcode contains all the data needed to identify the product you have purchased.
How does the QR-Code work?
QR Codes consist of groups of black and white squares representing binary sequences that correspond to alphanumeric strings. When you scan it with a device that recognizes the same, the application reads these binary strings and converts them into text format or URL that can be viewed on the mobile device.
The THECA astucci QR Code can be used to easily read information from any device enabled for barcode recognition. This means that you can scan a QR Code that you find on our ecological packaging with a smartphone and use it in our online shop.by reordering the same item without searching for it by typing in the code.
